PDRN is DNA extracted from salmon and is being used in various medical treatments. PDRN stimulates the Adenosine Receptor to increase the number of growth factors and fibroblast to encourage skin tissue regeneration and wound healing. The stimulation increases the beneficial cytokine and reduces the inflammatory cytokine, to promote its anti-inflammatory effect. As the activity of fibroblast increases, the collagen synthesis becomes more active and the skin barrier is enhanced. Other studies have proven other dermatologic effects.
